A Senegalese, French and American photographer and director, Amy Sarr moves through the worlds of art, fashion and music, drawn to individuals seen through culture, identity, history, belief and human connection. She studied social sciences at Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University, then completed an MA in photography at the Royal College of Art in 2024, receiving the Artful Dodgers Imaging Award for So Long a Life. Her first photobook, Seeking Solitude, was previewed at Offprint London, and her work is held in the permanent collection of the Musée de la Photographie de Saint-Louis. Her film Dakar New Wave won Best Sustainable Fashion Film at the London Fashion Film Festival.
